Virus detected on Chimera X download
To whom it may concern:
I downloaded the Windows executable from https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/download.html this afternoon, and my antivirus software intercepted and neutralized a suspicious item when I opened the file. You may want to do a thorough check of your systems.
Best,
Amy

Thank you Amy. That's probably a false positive. If you could share exactly what your antivirus software complained about, it would help us confirm that fact. There is a chance that your antivirus software is detecting something our's doesn't yet find.

Hi Greg,
It was Panda Dome software. I hope it is a false positive!
Best,
Amy

Ah sorry you wanted to know what it complained about, not the software. It said it was a suspicious item and it called it chimerax.tmp if I recall
