Hi, fitmap can currently sequentially fit different models, but it would be really handy if fitmap could also sequentially fit parts of an individual model (in a single fitmap command). It would be great for a quick fit of a large complex if there was an `eachChain` and maybe `eachSegment` command, to sequentially fit each chain or each contiguous stretch of polypeptide. `eachSelection` would also be useful, allowing the user to give a list of atom selections for sequential fitting in fitmap. Cheers Oli

Hi Oliver, That’s a good idea. I’ve made a feature request for that (the link here probably does not work because it is password protected, will try to get that problem fixed at developer meeting today) https://plato.cgl.ucsf.edu/trac/ChimeraX/ticket/836 <https://plato.cgl.ucsf.edu/trac/ChimeraX/ticket/836> Tom
