Hello, I am using the new ChimeraX, and it is great thus far! One issue I have come across is that if I want to display sidechains that are directly adjacent a connective line links the alpha carbons that I can't seem to get rid of. Tried lots of little workarounds, but can't seem to get it to go away (see attached picture). Is this just a bug I will have to deal with or is there a workaround? Hi Brandon, I changed the subject line to something descriptive. There is a "chain trace" pseudobond model listed in the Model Panel: to see what model number it has, you may need to use the disclosure triangle for the top-level model, as it will be a submodel of that model. You can just un-check the "shown" checkbox for the chain trace model, in the column under the eye icon, or specify hiding that model in a command, e.g. hide #1.2 model (substituting whatever is the correct model number in your case). More about pseudobonds: <http://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/pseudobonds.html> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
