Hi, it would be nice (when using orthographic projection) to have the option of a dynamically updating scale bar integrated into the main display. This would be helpful when analyzing structures and also when making figures. Cheers Oli

I agree a length scale bar is useful. I implemented the Chimera 1 version which is a fake molecule and I think it is poorly done and hope a better version can be done in ChimeraX. Adding a scale bar is pretty far down the list of priorities — we can’t even write out a PDB file, or save preference settings, …. Tom
