Hi, Is there any way at present to turn mesh lighting off in ChimeraX? Cheers Oli

Hi Oli, The “volume” command has a “meshLighting” option (true or false)… it's the same as the command in Chimera. You were probably using the GUI and may not have known there were also commands. I just tried it in ChimeraX, seems to be working! For example: volume all mesh f <http://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/volume.html#dispsurf> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Thanks Elaine - sorry - I did know there were commands, I'm just still figuring out which are the same as in chimera and which are not - thanks again! Oli
