Dear Developers, I have a need to color a huge ring-like structure with markers, I used to know that we could color the density by the markers as well as the links between them, so It's not necessary to have too many markers. However, I cannot figure out how to color the density covered by the links now. I am using ChimeraX 1.3. Any comments or suggestions will be appreciated! Thanks! Best regards, Hui

Dear Hui, The "color zone" command has a "bondPointSpacing" option to also use the coloring of bonds ( = links in marker models). <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/color.html#zone> Although there is also a Color Zone tool (GUI) I don't think it includes that option specifically, so you would need to use the command. <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/tools/colorzone.html> I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
