I don't know of any changes from ChimeraX 1.8 to 1.9 that would have increased GPU or CPU use. You could use Mac Activity Monitor and try the same movie recording in ChimeraX 1.8 and 1.9 to see if there is any difference. I suspect you won't see any. Tom
