Dear user, It is probably a bug, but we would need more information to take a look, such as your animation script. Instead of sending e-mail here you should use menu: Help... Report a Bug and attach your script and any other information needed to reproduce the problem, and include your e-mail address if you would like a response. Older releases are on this page: <https://www.rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/older_releases.html> Use the triangle next to the version number to show the table of downloads for that version.
