Hi
I am making a figure using a pdb and a density map in chimeraX1.6.1. each time I do that I have coloured arrows representing an axis that is in the middle. how do I get rid of them. I am sure it is trivial but I just could not find the answers in the manual.
thanks
François
Hi François, Maybe it's turned on by ISOLDE? I don't think it is turned on by default if you just open a density map and a PDB.
Regardless of how it got displayed, however, I think you can turn it off with the "cofr" command "showPivot" option, command:
cofr showPivot false
See https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/cofr.html
I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Meng, Ph.D. UCSF Chimera(X) team Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry University of California, San Francisco

Hi Elaine
Thank you so much that command line worked fine.
You made my day!
All the best
