I am requesting your help to identify candidates for an Assistant Professor faculty position working in the area of medicinal chemistry with an emphasis on cancer therapeutic discovery and development.  This University of Utah tenure-track faculty position is jointly sponsored by the Department of Medicinal Chemistry, the Huntsman Cancer Institute, and the Department of Medicine.  We are searching for talented investigators with the potential to develop outstanding research programs in the area of medicinal chemistry directed toward cancer therapeutic discovery.  We will also consider candidates with established independent programs.  In addition to their academic interests, the successful candidate is expected to develop programs that will result in new commercial activities.
