Dear UCSF Students,

I am emailing from a TV company based in the United Kingdom called Off the Fence. We will be flying to California next month to begin filming on a new documentary series looking at extraordinary people with remarkable skills. One of these people is a man called Kanzawa Sensei  - a chi expert from Japan, who claims he has the ability to heal people, and even put animals to sleep by directing 'chi'. The essence of this 'chi' seems to be an "energy" property that he is able to harness and direct at his subjects...

We are looking for a post-grad to act as a myth-buster for us for 1 day in February, and perhaps run some basic tests to find out if biophysics can explain what's happening, or if it really is just an elaborate hoax!

This programme will be going out internationally and will hopefully prove a fun (possibly enlightening?) experience, so if you think you could handle being on camera and be able to find the time and join us on location, we would love to have you!
