Poster Session
As usual, we will have a poster session during the afternoon. We encourage all groups including students and postdocs at UCSF to contribute posters to the event. The poster session provides an excellent opportunity to publicly
present recent science and to interact with members of many different industrial and academic organizations in the scientific community. Presenters may cite their participation on their CVs and previous presenters have gone on to present their work at national
ACS meetings.
For those students and postdocs who decide to participate in the poster session, we will be happy to offer them complimentary admission to the symposium.
To participate in the poster session, students and postdocs must email their
title and
abstract (in MS Word .doc format) to
chemistry-externalrelations@stanford.edu by
Monday, September 21st. Abstracts are limited to
100 words with a font type and size of
Arial 12 point. The use of graphics, embedded in the text, is highly encouraged. Abstracts
will be reproduced and provided to the symposium attendees in booklet form.
Dinner Banquet
Immediately following the symposium and poster session will be a dinner banquet in the Main Dining Room at the
Stanford Faculty Club. All are invited to attend. The after
dinner address is one of the highlights of the event, and this years presentation will be delivered by
John Lechleiter, Ph.D., Chairman, President &
CEO of
Eli Lilly.
Please join us for this unique opportunity to network with fellow colleagues, students and visitors from neighboring companies and institutions as we celebrate the
