a postdoctoral position is available in singapore for 3 years. the applicant should be good at computational chemistry/modelling/simulations in the field of biomolecular mechanisms. the successful applicant will work with teams of experimentalists. Projects will be focused with a view to developing mechanistic models and also designing small molecules/peptides. a major project here examines several aspect of the p53 pathway including peptide/small molecule design as well as mechanisms underlying basic biology, such as effects of post-translational mechanisms. most of our work is tested in the laboratories of collaborators.the job is expected to start early 2012. if interested, please email your cv and have 2-3 letters of reference sent to chandra@bii.a-star.edu.sg.
