Dear Colleagues,

I am accepting applications for postdoctoral positions in my new research group at the Illinois Institute of Technology, located in Chicago. Please encourage interested and suitable candidates to apply. One position is available in Fall 2013 and potentially another in Summer 2014. Research will focus on developing and applying molecular docking algorithms based on implicit ligand theory, a new theoretical framework for binding free energies based on rigid receptor configurations (http://dx.doi.org/10.1063/1.4751284). Ideal candidates will have strong computer programming skills, a background in computational/theoretical chemistry or physics (especially statistical mechanics), and interest in chemical biology and drug discovery. A PhD is required prior to the start date. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter, CV, and contact information for 2-3 references to david.minh@iit.edu.

Best regards,
David Minh
