Assistant Professor of Pharmacology

The College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences at Western New England University invites applications for a faculty position in Pharmacology at the Rank of Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmaceutical and Administrative Sciences. The position is a 12-month tenure-track appointment that offers an exciting opportunity to join an integrated and innovative learner-centered academic program. Areas of expertise/interest may include, but are not limited to, general pharmacology, pathophysiology, infectious disease, cardiovascular, endocrine, gastrointestinal, neurological, renal, respiratory pharmacology or toxicology.

Applicants should submit a letter of application, curriculum vitae, statement of teaching philosophy, brief plan for personal research and scholarship and contact information for three references. The position is available beginning July 1, 2020 and review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.


A doctorate in pharmacology or related discipline is required. Previous teaching experience as well as post-doctoral experience in the relevant discipline for candidates is preferred. The successful candidate will teach in the professional Pharm.D. program and will be expected to pursue research and scholarly activity along with appropriate service to the College, University and the community.
