Dear Colleagues,
I would like to bring to your attention the attached position for a full-time tenured or tenure-track position at the University of Illinois Department of Physics. This position is in the area of experimental biological physics, with an emphasis in cellular or systems-level biophysics, complementing strengths in molecular biophysics.
Start date is as early as August 16, 2012. A Ph.D., or equivalent, is required along with the ability to teach effectively at both undergraduate and graduate levels and to conduct a vigorous and significant program in an area of contemporary biological physics. The successful applicant will be joining a department with active programs in both experimental and theoretical biological physics.
