I wanted to let you know that I recently took a job at GSK, the pharma company. It turns out they have a big new multi-site AI/ML effort underway and want me to form and lead a group in Cambridge, MA, so I am going to direct my modeling of dynamical systems towards some very interesting new problems. I am thrilled at the opportunity and have been really enjoying this new chapter so far.

Aside from letting you know what's up, I also just wanted to mention that I am hiring, and so am looking widely for excellent candidates at the masters level or above who combine experience from some of (but not necessarily all of) biology, statistical physics, and machine learning. The work is going to be in a quasi-academic atmosphere, at the intersection of AI, systems biology, and self-organization in many-body dynamical systems.
