The UCSF Library is hosting a Software Carpentry Python workshop this Friday and Saturday, April 29th and 30th at Mission Bay and we need your help to make it successful! We will have 80 UCSF researchers at this event – 46 beginners and 34 advanced beginners. Here is what we need: 1 person with technical competence in Python who is willing to be helpers to the Software Carpentry Instructors during both days of the bootcamp. Workshops will run from 9 - 5 on Friday and Saturday (workshop info can be found here:http://bsmith89.github.io/2016-04-29-ucsf/). As a helper you will have the interpersonal skills to spot people who are confused and help them get unstuck during the practical sessions. Helpers are vital to keeping workshops flowing smoothly.
