We are looking for a developer for Foldit. They would be HHMI employee. Foldit Developer Position: The Bardwell laboratory and the Foldit development team are looking to hire a computer programmer to develop the Foldit game. Foldit is a computer game that challenges players to solve real biochemistry problems. The candidate would interface with current Foldit developers and experimental collaborators to improve the ability of Foldit to interface with biochemical data. The ideal candidate would have considerable programming experience in C++ and experience with large-scale code-bases. Past experience or knowledge of biochemistry, molecular biology, or X-ray crystallography is recommended. Work location could be at the primary Foldit development site in Seattle, or tertiary sites in Boston or Ann Arbor. Salary will be determined based on education level and experience.
