is there a place to register to get "Chimera"? when i goto the download page it asks me to login...i don't have a login. i'd be using the program at home. Dale Carpenter in reference to: http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/

Hi Dale, None of the Chimera pages are password-protected, so I don't know how you could be being asked for a login. Just so I have it straight... (1) You go to http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera (2) From there you click the "Download" link, which takes you to http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/distrib/index.html (3) Before you get to that page, you are asked for a login and a password? Can I ask what browser and what type of computer and operating system you are using? Okay, I think I understand what happened for you. I believe you accidentally clicked the link _below_ the "Download" link, which is "Known Bugs". Accessing the bug database does require a login/password (though a read-only-access login/password is given there on the page). So, try again, being careful to click on "Download". --Eric On Friday, January 10, 2003, at 11:37 AM, Joseph Schmoe wrote:
