I guess you mean the electrostatic potential at a point on the surface. Here's a Chimera mailing list message about how to do that. http://plato.cgl.ucsf.edu/pipermail/chimera-users/2011-February/006000.html The Chimera documentation web page http://www.cgl.ucsf.edu/chimera/docindex.html has an entry for searching the mailing list which allowed me to find these two messages by searching for atoms at surface and potential at surface point. I was wondering if any of you knew of a way to determine exactly what atoms occur on the surface of a molecule or how to get the exact charge at a point on a surface.
