I forgot to mention that the graphical interface to building helical nucleic acids in Build Structure is newer than the 1.8 release, so you would need to get a daily build to try it.

(a) if you want to make a regular helical conformation and the sequence is not too long to type, you may prefer to use the Build Structure graphical interface (in menu under Tools… Structure Editing).
