fixed: error saving scene with independent rotation

Hi Yanhe, The bug you reported a few days ago has been fixed! I just confirmed that with the current daily build of Chimera, you can now save scenes with independent rotation and use them in the Animation tool and in scripts. Best, Elaine ----- Elaine C. Awesome, thanks! I have made the movie by scripts. If I want to use Animation tool, what should I do? Change Chimera back script? Thanks. Elaine Meng <meng@cgl.ucsf.edu> 于 2018年7月31日周二 12:53写道:

If you already made the movie with scripts, there is no reason to redo it! It would be more work to start over with Animation and scenes to re-make the same movie. In the future, if you want to make movies with independent rotation using the Animation tool (which uses scenes), you need to download the current daily build or a later version of Chimera. Without the new version, you can’t save scenes with independent rotation, and so you have to use positions instead, which requires the script approach. Personally, I use scripts and positions to make movies (one reason is that scenes make session files large), but the Animation tool with scenes is easier for people not familiar with the commands.
