Hi Rob, The website is back up now (our e-mail was down at the same time so we couldn't see questions until this morning).
Although ChimeraX does not yet have a 2D Labels GUI, there is a "2dlabels" command as well as a mouse mode for moving the labels and arrow endpoints interactively. We are planning to have a GUI for 2D Labels, but I do not know the ETA.
