I don't know what lighting you're using. Could try different lighting, e.g.
lighting soft lighting gentle lighting full
If you're already using full lighting, then you can try adjusting the depth-cueing parameters and/or the direction(s) of the light. These are all options in the lighting command, see https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/commands/lighting.html
- is it possible to switch the coloring pattern from such a
"realistic" view to the animated "cartoon" style ?
I have no idea what you mean. Coloring is a different thing than the style. Of course, you can change both coloring and style but I don't understand what you want. Sorry, Elaine
