Hi Sean, In the tool window, use its context menu to "Save Tool Position". For tabbed tools, you need to do this in each tab in order to have the tabbing reliably restored. Your version of ChimeraX has to be from June 30th or newer to have tabbing info savable.

Hello, I was wondering if there is a command to automatically stack the tools (i.e. log, volume viewer) in the sidebar as TABs? For example to put in the preferences so it starts this way or to make an alias so it can be done quickly.
