Re: [chimerax-users] No suitable models found for viewDockX

hello chimeraX, I am trying to open a glide docking result using viewdockx and i am getting this error message ('no suitable models found"). I tried opening the file as .mae file ( protein and ligand are both in same model )and a pv.mae file ( protein and ligand are in diff models). I am still getting the same error. I am using chimerax ver 1.3 please help me see what i am missing. thanks amith

Hi Amith, You are supposed to first open the file, and then (separate step) start ViewDock with either the Tools menu or viewdockx command. <https://rbvi.ucsf.edu/chimerax/docs/user/tools/viewdockx.html> If you already tried that, maybe your maestro file is just different than the examples we had before when implementing this capability. How to fix it is unclear without an example file from you. If you don't mind sharing to public database, use menu: Help... Report a Bug and attach the file, and give a brief explanation and include your e-mail address in the bug report. If the file needs to remain private, you could send it to me or one of the other developers individually. The person who implemented this functionality has since retired, but we could still try to see what the issue is. I hope this helps, Elaine ----- Elaine C.
