Error when trying to add the PhenixUI plugin into ChimeraX 1.10.1 on RHEL 8.10
Hello, Our company has the licensed commercial version of ChimeraX 1.10.1 running on RHEL 8.10. When trying to add the PhenixUI plugin from Toolshed, I get this error: ERROR: Could not find a version that satisfies the requirement ChimeraX-OpenCommand~=1.16 (from chimerax-phenixui) (from versions: none) ERROR: No matching distribution found for ChimeraX-OpenCommand~=1.16 The latest version of ChimeraX is 1.12, so I'm not sure what 1.16 is referencing. What do I need to do to be able to install the PhenixUI plugin? Hi Joshua, Despite what the PhenixUI page says (and my apologies for it being inaccurate), but the latest version of the PhenixUI bundle requires features that are only available in the ChimeraX daily build, so you would need the daily build in order to install it. If you only have access to the 1.10.1 version of ChimeraX, you could download the 1.3.9 version of the bundle and install it with "toolshed install path-to-downloaded-bundle". That should work with ChimeraX 1.10.1, but only has the Fit Loops, Local EM Fitting, and Water Placement tools. --Eric Eric Pettersen UCSF Computer Graphics Lab
