Change fetch download location

Hi, I was wondering how to change the fetch download location from downloads to a custom-assigned folder. I saw how to do this on chimera, but couldn't find guidance for ChimeraX in the documentation. Is there a way to do this? Thanks, Walker

Hi Walker, There is no direct control over the location of the download folder, but if you are on a non-Windows system you can use the "symbolic link trick" to get the files to go to another folder, as discussed here: https://mail.cgl.ucsf.edu/mailman/archives/list/chimerax-users@cgl.ucsf.edu/... There is probably something similar you can do on a Windows system to get the same result, but I am not familiar enough with Windows myself to offer guidance. --Eric Eric Pettersen UCSF Computer Graphics Lab
