P.S. you can also learn ChimeraX commands by using the graphical interfaces, toolbar icons, and menus, which will show the corresponding commands in the Log.

So, if you're actually using ChimeraX, make sure you are looking at the ChimeraX User Guide and tutorials, not Chimera's! You can open them from the ChimeraX Help menu, or see the copies on our website here:

In ChimeraX, for example, you would use:

For instance, when I do "start Side View" it registers it as an unknown command. Also, when I do the command "color hot pink :lys", it says it does not know what the residue is.
